Hotel/Motel Work

• Bar Work – 2 people required for bar duties, often required for 6 to 8 weeks at a time however shorter and longer stays can be arranged.

• Kitchen work – 1 person required for kitchen duties including all food preparation and serving lunch and evening meals.
Both jobs come with free food and accommodation and no experience is necessary. Enquire with Monique for available positions.
Station Work
*Experience the life on the land. Work with sheep and cattle and get to know the real outback Queensland.

Farm Stay experience

Come to Jundah and experience the true Australian outback lifestyle, this experience caters for all ages and allows you to gain a deeper understanding of daily outback life.

Activities include:

• Watching cattle branding and mustering
• Tours of a number of properties in the Jundah area including Swanvale a family owned and run cattle and sheep station.
• Watch sheep shearing and crutching.
• General property work
• Fishing on the Thompson River – day trips can be arranged including rod hire, bait, ice and packed lunch (vegetarians can be catered for).
• Bird watching
• Bushwalking
• Kayaking on the Thompson River – day trips can be arranged including kayak hire and packed lunch or combine kayak and fishing for a single or multiple day trip including all meals and swag hire (vegetarians can be catered for).
• Camp under the stars
• Have an outback BBQ
• Meet Kangaroo Shooters
• Relax and watch T.V or read a book
• Ride a motorbike
